Damn, Dad, at it again with those art shows

September has been a crazy time for my dad and his art. At the beginning of the month, we had to take his King of the Mountain piece to Clayton, North Carolina (on the other side of Raleigh) for a month-long viewing. While he didn’t place anything (again) he is still getting his name out for the world to see. While his WordPress site only has a bit over 450 hits, his other profiles on the World Wide Web are in the thousands. He occasionally gets requests for commission pieces, and has already been invited to art shows in New York, Miami, Santa Fe, and a few others.

Ugh, if we could only win the lottery to attend these shows, it would make the world to him.

Today (the 21st), our little city is having a Fall Into Art Festival, and Dad is one of the artists in it. I’ll try to post an update later, if I’m conscious enough to go through it before I go back into work tonight.
